Their songs are still hotly played on radio stations, and the words of the most famous of them are known by music lovers of all generations, performing them in karaoke throughout the country. They are respected for their simplicity and honesty, they are a truly people's group. No matter what times and fashion trends fill our lives, the melodic and even slightly old-fashioned blues rock performed by Chizh & Co remains relevant today.

Sergei Chigrakov’s busy career includes his first steps on the big stage with Chernetsky’s “Different People”, collaboration with musicians from “Aquarium” and “DDT”, participation in skits like “Mitkovsky Songs” along with Russian rock stars, the album “Chizh & Blues Company” , recorded with American bluesmen. At the same time, the main period of Chizh’s creative activity occurred in the 90s of the last century: the last full-fledged long-play of the group with new material was released in 1999, and the second solo - the famous “I’ll be Haydn!”, where the musician independently sang and played all the instruments, - in 2001. Rumors that Chizh and company are busy updating their repertoire have been circulating since 2019, and there is a possibility that new songs will be performed at upcoming concerts. Be that as it may, Chigrakov would not trade elegant, slightly old-fashioned blues-rock for anything, and in the concert program “Chizh and Co” any listener, even if he is not a fan, will recognize many hits. Chigrakov’s songs, such as “Eternal Youth”, “Polonaise”, “Crossroads”, “About Love”, have long been released to the people: they are broadcast on radio stations of any format, they were sung with a guitar, and now they are ordered in karaoke, finally, they are mandatory the audience sings in chorus at the group's performances.
