Concert "Bridges of Mutual Understanding: Uzbekistan - Korea"

We invite you to the grand opening of the XXXIII concert season of the Chamber Orchestra of Folk Instruments "Sogdiana". This event will be a real celebration of music and friendship between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

For the first time, two outstanding groups will perform on the same stage:

* Chamber Orchestra of Folk Instruments "Sogdiana" under the direction of Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Firuza Abdurakhimova

* Orchestra of Korean Folk Instruments "Iksan" under the direction of the President of the National Society for the Preservation of Traditional Korean Music Sok Shin Oh

You will hear a unique combination of traditional Uzbek and Korean melodies performed by virtuoso soloists from two countries - laureates of international competitions and prestigious awards:

* From Korea: Hang Yeon Lee (tanso and taeum) and Cho Jun A (kayatym)

* From Uzbekistan: Bekzod Turaev (nai), Izzatilla Tolipov (kanun), Sardor Primov (koshnai), Dilshod Fozilov (Kashgar rubab)
